Drawing from the insights generated from the ROBUST project, this manifesto presents twenty-eight guiding principles and calls to action for future policy-making to enhance rural-urban synergies. The manifesto includes findings widely applicable to governance in diverse contexts, with several sections that devote particular attention to implications for EU-level policy, including the Territorial Agenda 2030 and the EU Long Term Vision for Rural Areas.
