The event brought together a variety of sustainable food system experts and stakeholders to explore how we can strengthen rural-urban linkages to improve city-region synergies and sustainability, support rural economies, and promote a circular food economy. The various expertise areas represented included DG-AGRI policies and projects, European and International labour representation, sustainable food procurement, the circular food economy, urban food policies, tourism and culture, health, integrated land management / territorial planning, and nature-based solutions.
